Dr. Bertrand Tchanche is currently working as Assistant Professor at the Alioune Diop University in Senegal, where he teaches Classical and Quantum Physics. His research is in the field of Energy and environmental engineering. Prior to joining the Alioune Diop University, he worked at ESIEE-Amiens and Université de Lorraine in France. He carried out his Ph.D. studies at the Agricultural University of Athens, Greece and holds a BSc and MSc in Physics (University of Yaoundé 1, Cameroon) and, a MEng in Energetics (2iE Foundation, Burkina Faso). He is one of the founding members of the African Society for Air Quality (ASAQ). He is currently leading two important projects on air quality (LCS-WACA project funded by the CAMS-Net, and IoT4AQ project funded by the International Astronomical Society (IAU)).
