There is a slide titled Elevator control panel with RT1170 using a 88W8801 WiFi via USB. So the RT1170 is a USB host? Is there a reference board using this design along with a SDK?

Hi, there is an EVK, which also have two Micro-USB OTG connectors on it. Further down the page, you can download the sources for the board and the schematic. Is it this, what you are looking for?

The EVK can connect WiFi via the SDCard interface. I could not in the USB host stack support for WiFi.
