About Himanshu Savargaonkar

Himanshu Savargaonkar is a budding engineer and a devoted electronics hobbyist. He is a problem solver by nature and has done multiple software and embedded projects. He is also a contributor and a supporter of the open-source community. Himanshu is currently pursuing his undergraduate degree with a major in electronics and communication and a minor in computer science at the Vellore Institute of Technology, India. Himanshu is an amateur equestrian athlete with national-level dressage competition awards to his credit. He plays tabla, an Indian percussion instrument as his hobby in his leisure time.

About Mohammed Zubair Shamim

Focus: Edge-AI solutions for healthcare and industry 4.0 (4IR) applications using resource constrained embedded devices

Dr. Mohammed Zubair has successfully completed ML research projects across varying disciplines including healthcare, chemicals industry, energy sector and wireless communications. Currently he is working with the University of São Paulo (Brazil) and the University of St. Andrews (U.K.) on developing intelligent edge vision models for screening Neglected Tropical Diseases. Dr. Mohammed Zubair holds a Master's degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering and a PhD in Electronics Engineering, both from the University of Dundee, U.K. He is also a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) USA.

About Clayton Pannell

Clayton snuck into the embedded industry from mechanical engineering via developing production test equipment, and picked up a good bit of circuit design and layout along the way. His work currently focuses on the control of DC Charging Systems where he is the lead engineer for Balmar's high output alternator and multi-stage external regulator products. Clayton holds a BSE in mechanical engineering and is in the final year of his Master's of Science in Software Engineering degree with a concentration in embedded systems at the University of Alabama in Huntsville

About Dr. Don Wilcher

Dr. Don Wilcher, an Electrical Engineer, is an Associate Certified Electronics Technician (CETa), a Technical Education Researcher, Instructor, Maker, Emerging Technology Lecturer, and Book Author. He is the Director of Manufacturing and Technology at Jefferson State Community College. He researches Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence applications and their impact on Personalized Learning, Competency-Based Models curriculum, and instructional development in Mechatronics, Automation, IoT, Electronics, Robotics, Embedded Controls, and Industrial Maintenance Technologies. He is also the Founder and owner of MaDon Research LLC, a technology consulting and technical writing business serving Electronics Marketing Media, Technical and Engineering Education companies.
